Welcome to Robbins Manufacturing Company. In 1938 our company was founded as a saw mill operation. Later, in 1948 we began treating wood products with CCA preservatives. Today, we are known as a premier provider of Wolmanized® Heavy-Duty™ Wood to the agricultural, marine, and utility industries. Our products are available to retail and independent dealers throughout Florida and the Southeastern part of the country.
We produce a majority of the fence posts, marine pilings, and utility poles that we sell through our distribution operation. We have the largest production facility in Florida where we annually produce over one million cubic feet of poles and pilings in addition to over one million fence posts.
We are innovative and responsive. Our retailer and distributor partners know they can pick up the phone any time and get a thoughtful answer to any lumber-related questions. All our associates are cross-trained in every aspect of our business to ensure that they can respond promptly and efficiently.
Strong Roots
Robbins Manufacturing Company was founded by Bruce Robbins, Sr., who opened a modest sawmill and lumber supply company in Tampa, Florida in 1938. Although the economy was still reeling from the Great Depression, Mr. Robbins wisely positioned his business for the surge in commercial and residential construction that would characterize the next several decades.
Through the years the company has grown in scope and reputation, never losing its responsiveness and customer focus. Robbins Manufacturing Company is now under the capable leadership of seasoned family and non-family members who continue to be proud stewards of the Robbins legacy in the wood products industry.
